Hong Kong – Leovation unveiled its latest innovation at the 2012 Red Herring Top 100 Asia on Tuesday, Showing the judges and the other competitors from around Asia the MagicMi virtual try on platform. Leovation’s product is judged as one that embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture.
MagicMi is an online and mobile retail purchasing platform that allows a user to filter and choose from a massive array of a selected fashion accessory, adjust the position and size of the item, all on a moving 3D portrait of the user.
Red Herring’s Top 100 Asia list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay would change the way we live and work.
“Choosing the companies with the strongest potential was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across Asia to the Top 100 Winners. We believe Leovation embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Leovation should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was the strongest it has ever been.”
Leovation is excited to receive the top honors of the event, as it serves as another beacon of what can be done with top-notch teamwork and cooperation.
Leovation was part of the 2012 Retail Asia Expo in Hong Kong in early June. It gave us a chance to show some new interactive experiences we’ve created in the Leovation Lab, to a large audience over the course of 3 days.
Combining physical, social and mobile media through Augmented Reality, Dreamoc Holographic presentations, touch screen / multi-touch table, and motion tracking systems, our guests were a part of many new and radical experiences. The feedback we received from the event organizers and guests was as much as an exciting experience for us as our creations were for them – amazing!
Leovation has just won two awards:
The “Let’s Play XXL” augment reality solution won the silver award. It augments huge roaring dinosaur onto the big posters hung outside Beijing San Li Tuan shopping arcade.
The “Virtual Try On” achieved Excellent award. It is a solution for customers to put on new fashions virtually.
